Ursinus is honored to welcome to campus Susan Sharp, Assistant Director of the Boren Scholarships and Fellowships program. Ms. Sharp will provide students with information about the Boren Awards, which provide a unique funding opportunity for U.S. students to study world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East; note that the countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded).
Additional information on preferred geographic regions, languages, and fields of study, as well as application procedures can be found at www.borenawards.org. The Ursinus deadline for the application will be in mid-January.
Please contact Greg Weight, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, or Ambassador Melrose (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you cannot attend the session but are still interested in the scholarship.
