Conducted by Holly Hubbs, Associate Professor of Music, the ensemble will present a program featuring a mix of standard and new compositions for wind band. New works on the program will be a suite of composer Howard Shore's music from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and music by contemporary composer Samuel Hazo. Classic works will include John Barnes Chance's "Variations on a Korean Folksong," Jaime Texidor's "Amparito Roca," and the famous "Stars and Stripes Forever" march by John Philip Sousa.
