WEEKLY YOGA CLASSES will be offered on campus Wednesdays from September 25 to November 13 from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Classes will start promptly at 4:45 p.m. The sessions will be taught by Linda Talone, an insured, certified yoga instructor. Sign-up and payments can be made at the first class on September 25. Class is held in the rehearsal room in the Kaleidoscope (Room 131).
Linda is an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Assoc of America) certified group exercise instructor and has been teaching aerobics classes since 1984. Linda is a YogaFit certified yoga instructor and has taught yoga classes since 2003. She teaches the Hatha style of yoga, which is a blend of several styles, including Vinyasa and Lyengar. A class may include focus on breath, stretching, holding poses or moving in a flow series, short meditation, relaxation. The class may be active, relaxing, or both. Each class is a little different. The cost is $60 for the 8 weeks. Drop-in fee is $10 per class. Bring a mat or towel with you to class and wear comfortable clothes.
Beginners are welcome….even if you have never taken a yoga class before this is a great opportunity for you to begin!
