Wonderful Town won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, in 1953. The light musical follows the story of Ohio sisters Ruth and Eileen Sherwood, young and determined newcomers to New York City. Greenwich Village is the setting for Bernstein's lively, jazzy score.
