Ursinus College will host the annual meeting of the Society of Policy Scientists, bringing interdisciplinary scholars and practitioners who work on complex societal problems to the campus Oct. 24 through 26. The conference is an opportunity for students and faculty to have access to the scholarship, practice, and experience of professionals in many fields and from other colleges and universities. Presenters will come to Collegeville from academia, government and the private sector from throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. The presenters and topics represent a diverse set of environmental interests and expertise, including wildlife and natural resource management, politics and governance, public health and nutrition, corporate sustainability and development, and the challenges of interdisciplinarity.
Ursinus students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend selected sessions free of charge. Faculty, staff or students interested in attending the Friday or Saturday dinners (for which there is a charge to cover expenses) should contact Professor Wallace.
