Rynetta Davis: Unmarried Black Women in African American Literary History

Rynetta Davis is a literary scholar focusing on literary representations of singleness in the nineteenth century. In the context of African American History Month, she will speak on her forthcoming book, Singled Out: Single Black Womanhood and African American Literary History. She is on the faculty at the University of Kentucky.
