01
Where is Ursinus College?
Ursinus College is at 601 E. Main Street, Collegeville, PA 19426, in suburban Montgomery County — about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia and close to King of Prussia, Valley Forge and Phoenixville.
02
How do I inquire about renting a venue at Ursinus?
Submit your event details through the inquiry form on this site. The events team reviews availability and comes back with the spaces that fit. Campus space is ultimately scheduled by the College’s Office of Protocol and Special Events in Corson Hall.
03
Can outside organizations host events at Ursinus College?
Yes. The College opens its campus to community events — Movies on the Lawn is hosted with the Borough of Collegeville, Community Night reservations are accepted, and more than fifteen athletic camps and clinics run each year — and its Protocol and Special Events office takes inquiries from external hosts.
04
What is the largest venue at Ursinus College?
Indoors, Bomberger Hall Auditorium seats 464, followed by Lenfest Theater at 380 and Olin Auditorium at 319. Outdoors, Berman Lawn hosts Commencement and Movies on the Lawn, and Patterson Field has a grandstand; the College does not publish fixed capacities for its outdoor spaces.
05
Can I get married at Ursinus College?
Ursinus alumni have held their weddings in Bomberger Hall, whose auditorium has a 3,593-pipe organ, a Bösendorfer grand piano and stained glass. Bomberger is available to outside rentals in December, January, June, July and early August, with exceptions considered; receptions can follow on Berman Lawn, the Schellhase Commons terraces or in Wismer Dining Hall. Dates are confirmed through inquiry.
06
Do the venues include audio-visual equipment?
Yes — each venue page lists the equipment the College publishes for that room, such as projector screens, HDMI laptop hookups, podiums, PA and sound systems, Mersive Solstice wireless presentation and media players. Technical staffing for an event is confirmed during inquiry.
07
Is there parking on campus?
Yes. Campus lots include the Wismer Lot, Corson Lot, Patterson Lot, the 9th Avenue lot, the Main Street Village lot and admissions visitor parking, all shown on the interactive campus map. Event parking arrangements are confirmed during inquiry.
08
How much does it cost to rent a venue at Ursinus College?
The College does not publish rental rates. Pricing depends on the space, the date, the setup and the support services required, and is quoted for your specific event after inquiry.
09
Are catering and dining available?
Ursinus has its own campus dining services and Wismer Dining Hall, which can be arranged for banquets and conference dining. Catering options and any restrictions for external events are confirmed during inquiry.
10
Can I tour the venues before I book?
Yes. Request a tour through the inquiry form and the events team will arrange a campus visit.
11
How far is Ursinus from Philadelphia?
About 25 miles. Collegeville sits northwest of the city in Montgomery County, with access from the Pennsylvania Turnpike (exit 326) and Route 422; the campus is 170 acres organized along Main Street.
