Hunsberger Woods is a wooded, 35-acre tract that Ursinus owns jointly with the Borough of Collegeville, at the edge of campus and adjacent to the Ursinus Campus Farm. Wooded approaches and trail character create an immersive landscape experience in clear contrast to the College’s formal rooms, while the open field near the reservable Hunsberger space allows organized gathering and activity. The working farm adds educational and environmental context that enriches tours, workshops, sustainability programs and place-based storytelling. Together the woods, the field edge and the farm support small outdoor gatherings and experiential learning; the cross-country course also runs here.
