Olin Auditorium keeps every seat focused on the stage. Its 319 raked seats give clear sightlines throughout the room, and the stage-facing layout suits lectures, panels, symposia, film screenings and academic conferences. Projection, a podium with lighting controls, cable television and media playback (Blu-ray and DVD) are built in, alongside a sound system and writing surfaces. Olin Hall opened in 1990 and sits directly on Olin Plaza, so registration and receptions can be staged outside the doors.
