More about this space

Schellhase Commons opened in 2020 at the College’s primary Main Street and Fifth Avenue gateway, incorporating the historic Keigwin Hall and housing the bookstore, the admission office and Café 2020. Its event rooms are built for flexibility: Room 105 seats 50 with mobile seating, a projector screen, podium and writing surface; the Student Interactive Space is an intimate 15-person room behind wall-to-wall glass with a large monitor and direct access to two terraces; and the Listening Room seats 28 beneath a vaulted ceiling and exposed brick with its own terrace. Three named outdoor spaces — the Foreman Discovery Plaza, the Boswell Rooftop Terrace and Markman Terrace — let a program move between indoors and out.
